You can Join the MHRA email list to receive an e-mail notification when new content of your choice is posted to the MHRA website.  You can choose topics related to herbal medicine and then should be informed of any courses run by the MHRA regarding herbal medicine regulation.

The MHRA have recently run seminars on Pharmacovigilance for Herbal Marketing Authorisations and Traditional Herbal Registrations & Advertising Traditional Herbal Medicines.

Discovering Herbal Medicine Seminars

More than Skin Deep: Health of Hair, Skin and Nails

on Sunday, 16th October 2011, at Earley Day Centre, 1 Kenton Road, Earley, Reading

Seminar programme includes presentations on 'Herbs for Hair, Skin and Nails.' by Stuart McLean and 'Good Nutrition: Healthy Hair, Skin and Nails' by Dr Ann Walker. Lunch will be at The Herb Farm, Sonning Common in Reading with a guided tour of the display gardens given by Freda Miller and Ann Walker after lunch, followed by talks on learning from case histories, tips and a question and answer session. The cost of the day is £60 which includes lunch and 3 tea/coffee breaks.

Visitors are welcome at the seminars held for this one-year non-practitioner herbal medicine course.  The BHMA have accredited the course, and it has been accepted as a suitable qualification for entry into most degree courses on herbal medicine.
